Be At Peace and Just Be
Right now, more than ever, we are pressured to be doing anything, be productive, and work on our outstanding to-do list. This may increase stress and anxiety. This week let’s strive to be at peace and just be. You are beautiful, caring, giving, and loved. The world needs your wonderful soul so take care of yourself so that your light can shine.
Three Mindful Ways to Just Be
Love Your Impatient Self. When in doubt, start with a little loving-kindness toward yourself. Start with yourself, then widen your lens outward.
Do Less. Really. Mark Lesser writes: “Too often we mistakenly believe that doing less makes us lazy and results in a lack of productivity. Instead, doing less helps us savor what we do accomplish.” His simple practices for savoring the moment can all be adapted to your life.
Let Yourself Be. “Our continued dwelling on how we are not as we would like to be, just make us feel worse taking us even further from our desired goal. This, in turn only serves to confirm our view that we are not the kind of person we feel we need to be in order to be happy.” Shift your focus from “doing” and into “being.”
