Why do we hate silence? Why do have a need for constant sound or noise? Whether it is listening to music, tv, audible book or conversation, we have an excessive need for sound. We are constantly batting two types of noise;
Outer Noise sounds from the environment (ex. Tv, workplace, home, traffic, etc.)
Inner Noise the voice in your head that constantly reminds you of all the things you haven’t done.
What if you committed to an intentional pause within your day? A what? Yes, a simple pause. A few minutes set aside for you to enjoy the silence and just breathe. It only takes 1 or 2 minutes throughout the day.
